UMass\u2019s Daniel Sanford-Hankins led all scorers with 24 points. Malcolm Christie scored 17 points for the Beavers, shooting 4 of 9 from three-point range. Oregon State allowed 17 offensive rebounds and committed 16 turnovers in the loss. Josiah Lake II played through an ankle injury, scoring 11 points and grabbing six rebounds. Yaak Yaak missed his third consecutive game due to injury. The first half saw multiple runs from both teams. Oregon State trailed 10-2 and later 14-7 before an 8-0 run gave them the lead. UMass responded with a 9-0 run, but Oregon State closed the half with its own 9-0 run to trail by three points at halftime. In the second half, Oregon State did not make a field goal in the final 6:33 of the game.
