The findings indicate that individuals with a higher abundance of certain bacterial species, notably those belonging to the Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus genera, consistently reported lower levels of anxiety and depression symptoms. Furthermore, these individuals demonstrated enhanced performance in tasks related to memory, attention, and problem-solving.
