Bonaroo 2026: Skrillex, The Strokes, Noah Kahan Headlining; Festival Undergoing Improvements

Music festival Bonnaroo has announced its headliners for the 2026 event, including Skrillex, The Strokes, and Noah Kahan.,The festival grounds, known as The Farm, are undergoing significant improvements following the cancellation of the 2025 event due to flooding.As the year draws to a close, anticipation is building for Bonnaroo 2026. Following the cancellation of the 2025 festival due to severe weather and flooding, the Manchester, Tennessee music festival is slated to return in the summer of 2026 with enhancements to its grounds.

Bonnaroo is scheduled to take place from June 11 to June 14, 2026. A billboard in Nashville revealed the festival’s headliners for each night on December 2, which were followed by the full lineup announcement. Headlining acts include Skrillex, The Strokes, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and Noah Kahan.

Other confirmed artists include GRiZ, Turnstile, Teddy Swims, The Neighbourhood, and Role Model. Kesha is set to curate the festival’s 2026 Superjam, titled “KESHA PRESENTS: SUPERJÂM ESOTERÍCA: THE ALCHEMY OF POP.” Additionally, “Weird Al” Yankovic will perform a special late-night set, “Bigger & Weirder Saturday Late Night Roovue.” The lineup also features Geese, Yungblud, and Amyl & The Sniffers. Folk rock band Mt. Joy was the first to confirm their performance for June 12, coinciding with their North American headline tour announcement. Mt. Joy was originally scheduled to perform at Bonnaroo 2025.

Speculation about the lineup has been fueled by online sources and the festival’s own “Roo Clues.” EDM artist Skrillex is rumored to headline the new welcome party on June 11, marking his return to the festival after 12 years. Fan theories suggest artists like Role Model and The Dare might be on the bill, based on lyrical hints and “Roo Clues.” Other speculated acts include Turnover, Amyl & The Sniffers, and Daily Bread.

Several artists who had their Bonnaroo 2025 sets canceled due to the mid-festival termination are being speculated to return in 2026. These include Aly & AJ, Arcade Fire, Avril Lavigne, Beabadoobee, Dispatch, Effin, Glass Animals, GloRilla, Hozier, Matt Champion, Nelly, Remi Wolf, RL Grime, Tyla, and Vampire Weekend.

Traditionally, the Bonnaroo lineup is announced in January, with the 2025 lineup revealed on January 8.

The 2025 Bonnaroo festival was canceled on June 13, midway through the event, due to severe weather conditions in Manchester, Tennessee. Approximately 80,000 attendees were asked to evacuate the festival grounds on the second day. While Thursday’s sets on June 12 proceeded as planned, heavy rain and lightning on June 13 led to an evacuation around 1:30 p.m. The festival announced the cancellation of the remainder of the weekend programming around 7:30 p.m., citing forecasts of additional rainfall.

Improvements are underway at The Farm for Bonnaroo 2026. Campsites located in flood-prone areas will be decommissioned, resulting in a reduced capacity. Camping entry will commence on Wednesday, a later start than in previous years. Stages in Centeroo will be fully programmed from Friday to Sunday, with Thursday now dedicated to a welcome party featuring a headliner. The festival has also focused on grounds maintenance, seeding 135 acres of Bermuda grass and enhancing stormwater management systems. The road system is also being significantly expanded.
