Eagles-Bears Week 13 Injury Report: DeVonta Smith Cleared to Play, Three Ruled Out

Philadelphia Eagles have released their final injury report for the Week 13 game against the Chicago Bears.,DeVonta Smith, Saquon Barkley, and several other key players are listed without a game status and expected to play. The Philadelphia Eagles have issued their third and final official injury report ahead of their Week 13 Black Friday home game against the Chicago Bears. Three players have been ruled OUT: Lane Johnson, Xavier Gipson, and Myles Hinton.

The Eagles anticipate Lane Johnson might be able to play in Week 15, with Fred Johnson expected to fill in at right tackle in the interim. Gipson sustained his injury in Week 12, and Britain Covey, recently added from the practice squad to the active roster, will likely serve as the punt returner. Myles Hinton remains within his 21-day practice window as he works back from injured reserve.

DeVonta Smith, Saquon Barkley, Reed Blankenship, Landon Dickerson, and Brandon Graham are all listed without a game status, indicating their readiness to play despite appearing on the injury report this week. Notably, DeVonta Smith was a full participant in practice on Thursday after missing Tuesday and Wednesday.

Willie Lampkin’s 21-day practice window to return from injured reserve has expired, meaning he will remain on IR for the season.

The Eagles have temporarily elevated two players for Friday’s game: Patrick Johnson and Andre’ Sam. Patrick Johnson’s elevation provides additional depth at edge rusher and likely contributes to special teams. This marks Johnson’s third and final elevation for the regular season; the Eagles must sign him to the roster if they wish for him to be available for game days leading up to and during the playoffs. Andre’ Sam’s elevation adds depth at safety. With only Blankenship and Sydney Brown currently active as full-time safeties, and other players like Cooper DeJean and Michael Carter II potentially filling in, Sam’s addition provides an extra option in case of necessity.
